Chemistry is Natural @ TU

What can you observe about a glass of water? It contains a colorless,
odorless and seemingly tasteless substance.  But, far beneath the
surface lies a completely different world, far more complex and
intricate than one could ever imagine.  Trillions of molecules interact
with one another and seem to take on their own personalities.  Regents
Chemistry is a course that allows students to travel into this
microscopic world and explore everything from the structure of the atom
to explosive chemical reactions.    Students may wrap their minds
around such abstract concepts as the movement of electrons or nuclear
decay through technology and hands-on laboratory procedures.  This
course fuses the Regents Chemistry curriculum with inquiry based
learning in which students may answer questions like, “Why is the
Statue of Liberty green if it is made out of copper metal?”  Students
are guided through the content and 1200 minutes of laboratories will
fully prepare students to take the Regents exam in June.
